HOW TO USE THE MEDICAL INSURANCE POLICY: Even though over 95% of our travelers never encounter any sickness or injury, it still may occur.  If sickness or injury occurs that requires medical attention, USA or hotel staff can direct you to the medical facility on location.  As part of your travel package, USA has included Primary Sickness/Accident Insurance coverage through Travel Insured International.  To receive insurance assistance you can call collect at 1-603-898-8752 reference policy T-2210.  The assistant will guide you through the process of how to get reimbursement for your approved medical costs up to the limits of the policy.  Emergency Medical Evacuation insurance is also included in case of a serious emergency.  Pre-existing conditions are not covered.  Alcohol-related sickness or injury is not covered.
USA STUDENT TRAVEL'S POLICY ON ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION: USA Student Travel in no way promotes, advocates, encourages, nor provides alcohol to its tour participants.  USA Student Travel is aware that on many events and activities in Mexico and the Bahamas, alcoholic, as well as non-alcoholic beverages are available. Each participant chooses for himself or herself whether or not to consume alcohol.  The legal drinking age in Mexico/Bahamas is 18 and loosely enforced.
PROPER BEHAVIOR: USA Student Travel treats all travelers as adults. We expect each participant to behave accordingly.  If a participant becomes excessively intoxicated and/or a problem to the other participants, that participant may lose his/her privilege of being a part of the “USA Program” and may be sent home at his/her own expense.  A participant may also be denied boarding for any flight due to inappropriate behavior, such as foul language and rowdiness etc. The “USA program” begins upon check-in at the airport, including the flight to and from your destination and your entire week’s stay. Please use your better judgment and don’t ruin your vacation because of foolish behavior! We’re looking forward to a great summer!
